Mirik is a tiny hill station and one of the famous tourist spots. Mirik’s core attraction is the famous lake of Mirik where tourists love to spend time. This is a 1.25 km natural lake and is also called Sumendu Lake. The depth of the lake is 3ft to 25 ft.

Ramitey Dara is a hill that offers the beautiful scene of the mountains that are covered with the snow and the plains of Mirik. The Kawlay Dara scene and Bokar Ngedon Chokhor Ling Monastery and is situated in the locality.

Bokar Ngedon Chokhor Ling Monastery is one of the most well-known Buddhist centers in Mirik. This Monastery is home to approximately 500 monks who have participated in sustaining and practicing the teachings of the Shakyamuni Buddha. It serves as the School teaching principles of Buddhism.
